1st LDD fleet

Presenting here, my first efforts at building something in Lego Digital Designer.

Image

Three proud ships of the line, a Paladin-Class fast battleship supported by two Rogue-Class cruisers.

Image

The GCSS Paraclete, armed with fourteen anti-warship turbolaser batteries, and ten anti-fighter point-defense guns. Hangar capacity for two squadrons of Thermopylae fighters, along with a squadron of Trafalgar bombers. Can also deploy explosive ordnance from the hangar bay in the form of Plasma Torpedoes and Yellowjacket missiles.

Image

GCSSs Glorious and Champion, each with six point-defense turrets and two antiship turrets. Equipped with heavy shielding and armor, these ships are designed primarily for sweeping the skies of fighters, and their missile payloads are laid out for this explicit purpose, composed entirely of Yellowjacket cluster-missiles.

Ooooh, I like - do you have the LDD files for these beasties? They may come in useful for one of my future LDD forum-battle ideas . . .

Sure, but fair warning-they're a bitch to assemble.

I agree with Silva and Shadow, these are unique and look great. How do you get the wing chassis to work/fasten together?

This little picearoony right here. In the IRL models I use two or three to give it a bit of structural integrity.

awesome shapes! like boomerangs or something... quite unique design, I would love to see those in a Brikspace battle, are you planning on building them?

I... wow.

Please, please build LEGO versions. These deserve way more than to waste away as LDD models.

That is all.
