For resizing I use Microsoft Picture Manager. It is good for bulk resizings, and means photobucket/flickr does not have to cope with the stress of resizing while uploading.

Okay, this forum really is no help to me. I know how to take pictures and resize them, but how in the world do you actually, physically post them into the forum? Type in the URL? Whats a URL? Type in the pic file? No, that dailed in the above comment. HOW!?!? I need help. (SOB)

Make an account on a photo-hosting site (like photobucket), then the UI should guide you to the URL well (it's the one with the [img] tags). Post again if you're still having problems.
