Recurring characters make forum battles more interesting.
I thought we could share pictures of our versions of recurring characters and discuss their charateristics/heroic clichees/histories.
Which ones do we have anyway? I can think of Zombie Lincoln, Warhead and Manly Fucking Santa.
Here are two i did put together: (please apologize the crappy picture quality)
Warhead, only thing missing is the flame piece that looks like a plume. What is your preferred weapon of choice btw Mr. Warhead?
I like this character but i have no idea where he comes from. I take he was not invented by Brikwars players? Also he needs an AK-47, that much i know. How can i build one without snipping stuff off the tip of a grey rifle?
If you're not into Metal you are not my friend!

There are plenty of armies that have been shown throughout a couple forum battles (or at least in a couple people's collections). I have three Assyrian soldiers and a Vol trooper in my minifig box.

my champion has been in most of my bigger battles. In my first battle, he was only a hero and got killed on the 5th or 4th turn. (out of 15 or so) and he's had a history of being the most bulky minifig on the field. (huge jet pack, waist armor, and tons of weapons) and I have another minifigure, captain manly, who has only been in two battles an died as soon as enemies came up close!

but those are the only two main characters (besides two other heros) that I've had.
edit: oh crap, I realized this is for forum battles!

For Zombie Lincoln just research the real Lincoln on Wikipedia and then change peoples rights to the undeads rights and you'll have a feel for the dude's agenda. The AK47 changes the living to undead in some games. He can raise the dead and do all sorts of dark death magics like drain life and anything else you can think up.
MFS..? you can't go wrong with this simple idea. Nuff said.
Warhead's favourite weapon? Beer, Maniac Beer especially. Just be hyper aggressive and your most of the way there.

I would like to contribute Closet Dobby, a mysterious, insidious, sinister house elf who teleports around snuggling stuff.

I think by now no one can do a serious forum battle without one or more of:
Assyrians
Time-Traveling Super Jews (Sorry to be pretentious)
MFS
Warhead
Britannians

My Forum battle has none of these, and it's serious business.

same with my upcoming forum battle, but I might just scrap it to do some post-apoc stuff.

My battle has britannians, so it's okay that it's still on hiatus. Also, I suggest Natalya's Gludavians, makes for a highly powerful single unit.
I contribute The Hidden. Running around knifing people is fun, kids!

In response to your question about where Zombie Lincoln comes from, google "ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny" and watch the video you find through to the end.
