The vortex gaining in momentum twists ever faster, a strange shining light, reminiscent of a really crappy idea of using tinfoil as a special effect begins to emanate from the Broom of Duum vortex and before long objects on the battlefield begin to be drawn in...



Faster and faster the vortex spins. First debris and then even the still remaining sound structures begin to spin with it as the Vortex intensifies. Everything is dragged towards the centre in the spiral arms of the maelstrom.



As items are dragged into the centre even the biggest debris is no match for the gaping maw and are soon crushed and swallowed.



BUT What could be the cause of such a force? And that weird buzzing noise, like an army of vuvuzela all playing at once...



Ah!..



Motorboating like the pro he is the vibrating sounds seem to be amplifying the Broom of Duums power and destroying everything around it.



Just a pity it manifested itself as a TV dinner looking thing, ah well.



The living are no exception to the pull of the vortex. Blitzen and Mini-Warhead tumble toward it.



The Black DSM and Silva' fly towards the epi-centre.



The DSM is the first to die.




Silva arrests his fall with the power of his Silverian Staff (oh-er).



There is a blinding flash of tinfoil used badly and he is gone, to who cares where.



The Post Apoc survivors do not appear able to survive this type of cataclysm.



Both are consumed never to be seen again.



Joss Rook's Farce Powers fare no better and she is sucked into the eye of the storm and disappears.



At the last second Mini-Warhead is teleported away...



and is gone. But to where and teleported by who? An Immortal ship would have been detected, wouldn't it?



Almighty Benny, being a Super Saiyan seems immune to the draw of the vortex. He contentedly prepares to start killing the others as they are pulled near. That is until Stubby, through the clever use of vocalising through his ears convinces him it would be cooler to work to save some of the Heroes instead. With a sigh of resignation the Almighty Benny takes a half hearted sneaky swipe at Blitzen as she draws close but she easily catches onto the non-lethal part of the Glaive and manages to hold on for dear life.



Arkbrik is swept along in the dizzying tornado. He desperately grasps for anything to stop his demise...



HUZZAH! He finds salvation not a second too soon, the swirling vortex storms below him and J+B, Arkbriks hold is beginning to slip, can he hold on?..



The Predator and his Mini-Nuke are also dragged along...





And are soon consumed. The nuke detonates just past the event horizon and sucked down with the rest of the debris.



But even as the blast is drawn back within the vortex it still blows J+B's pants off. Arkbrik almost lets go of J+B's legs as he is faced with a fate worse than death. But as Arky decides to let go the Vortex suddenly stops...



Other than the Heroes nothing is left. No brik remains...



Um, apparently Fleebnorks being able to survive the harsh environments of space and leeching onto passing Space Craft are quite resilient to things like gravity and vortices. Probably even black holes when it comes to it. Stubby mystified by the silence reluctantly stops motorboating and releases his new best chewtoy to take a look. He mumbles something about "...might have to check the rule book on that one."

The Fleebs are still busy multiplying and attack, the Heroes have no choice but to fight for their lives... again!





They battle for what seems like hours but is the briefest of minuets before...



They too are beamed away to who knows where. The Planet is left devoid of life... other than the incessant veracity of the teaming billions of chittering Fleebnorks.

well. that was a really really big, long, awesome and likely unreplicable battle.

Wha? It's over? To be honest, I enjoyed the action every round but the excitement itself was winding down as it neared the end because there were too many objective-less factions and stuff (like bob) imo. The fact the computer core was lost at the end is just one of it's hilarious features though... I had a good laugh more often than not. The moments I remember best and come to mind first are all the Manly Santa moments, they were unmatchable.
