how do i get hot glue out of minifigs?

Post by mr.duckie » Sun Sep 05, 2010 3:17 pm

I got a non-peach luke skywalker in a pilot outfit in a garage sale bin, but for some reason, he is full of hot glue so you can't move his arms or legs.
is there any way to get the hot glue out of him?
Should i dip him in boiling water. or will that remove the paint?

there also was a monorail support painted brown with cheap crayola paint.
blasphemous.

Keep in mind that boiling water can ruin the lego itself. :(

You could just leave him in a hot place and you might be able to pick out the hot glue it depends on how full it is.

ok thanks. the glue is inside the torso, so it might be tricky.

Actually, I hear GooGone works even better. Or something like that. I forget which stuff it is.

EDIT: Brasso. That's what it's called.
BrikThulhu eats 1d6 minifigs each turn.
