Yeah I know the armour recon aren't but I was talking about the Terrorkhan from the first post. I can see those last ones aren't wearing gas tanks for myself :p They're pretty sweet also but not like the Terrorkhan though 8) (which I guess makes sense since they're the elite)

Only TerrorKhan wear the heavy jumpjet assault armour as seen here. Most anything else are just regular army troopers, all be it from different outfits. TerrorKhan are used mostly as lightning assault troops so have fairly light weapons compared to the regulars that cart all their heavy weaponry on their backs. The Armour Recon although well armed compared to many other armies still only carry one specialised weapon each for squad firepower support. Mostly because they are expected to find, engage and stay with an enemy until help arrives. I guess the USA equivalent would be Army Rangers.

They need some kind of Hyena guard dog captured from some kind of hazard planet with only the toughest wild-life, because it looks awesome.

Do those different riffles actually have different stats?

Yeah, pretty much but only loosely translated into games and stored in my head for now. I'm too lazy to Wiki having too much to do. Attack Dogs would be good but they'd need jetpacks too then... hmm!.. :D

Hmmm, if you've asked him and he hasn't given them to you...

There's always the option of making your own stuff. Or maybe you shouldn't, cause we'll just end up with another ANF(AAAP) thread.

7th Immortal Air Cav Assault Regiment:

THE TROUBLE-SHOOTERS

Image

Primarily used in preparation assault landings the Trouble-shooters are well used to infiltrating defensive positions and causing all sorts of bother. They are equipped with a large jetpack allowing them to make landing from a dropship or pod once it has broken into atmosphere. This allows a very low lidar/radar signature which can be masked with conventional countermeasures such as haywire EMP bursts from orbiting ship bombardment.

Image

Once on the ground the Trouble-shooters use their jetpacks to good use during assaults, here we see an assault specialist. H is about to soften up a target with a standard Immortal Frag grenade.

Image

They invariably carry heavier weapons for more numerous opponents, here we see the M1A1 Smartgun in operation.

Image

And for enemy armour there is always the trusty standard MrkII Missile Launcher.

Warhead, the troubleshooters look great. I like the jet packs as well as the overall look of the team. Nice work once again. :D

Warhead, what do the "basic" soldiers of the Immortals look like?

We'll need to know so that Immortal minions can start appearing in forum battles worldwide!
