VicLUG will be at Gottacon again this year ( 3rd year now! ) and playing our own spin on the game, VicWars. I'll post the basic rules soon, we're having a meeting next week to brush up.

Some people from these forums came to the convention last year so I thought it would be a good idea to post here as well. There won't be any BYOB this year ( bring your own brick ), cleanup has been pretty messy and we don't want anyone's pieces to go missing.

Yah, got 4 great games in: 2 on friday evening and 2 on saturday morning and afternoon. On sunday I decide to spend the morning playing one the RPGs they had, which was very fun as we had a good group.
When I played the chickens I used chicken magic a few times.
1. I tried to get the dragon to help me: Failed, got shat upon.
2: Lanched my close combat chickens at some texans: Succeeded greatly
3: Tried to draw forth water to wash my ranged chickens: Failed and caused some Sponges to absorb the water.
4: Tried to set a bamboo field on fire: Failed and gained the wrath of the chicken gods, which killed a whole unit of my chickens.

In the last game I summoned Zombie Lincoln who set an entire square on fire.
