MOCpages: Steampunk

Post by trebnos1 » Fri Feb 25, 2011 4:03 pm

So, people keep posting cool creations they find online, and I thought it might make sense to consolidate those into categorized threads; capital ships, sailing age, etcetera, so we don't have a surplus of threads to dig through. There's a lot of cool stuff, but you'll never find it if it's at the bottom of the pile (story of my Lego building career...).
Anyway, steampunk. To kick it off, I found this just today. Link below.

Surrounding the gears with the brown thin treads really made an interesting look, I might have to steal that in the future if I ever get back on my Steampunk kick.

Not exactly Mocpages, but it's some of the best Steampunk I've ever seen (scroll down for pics).

That airship is very much done in the anime version of the steampunk perspective, which is nice.

It reminds me heavily of some of the stuff out of Steamboy or Howl's Moving Castle.
