I found all your STD-s (super death tanks) quite intriguing, yet I lack the technical knowledge behind them.
tl;dr - a quick question about supertanks:
What counts as a STD in terms of dimensions and construction? I'm mostly interested in the average length and width (measured in studs), and height (measured in briks).

I never built one, but my definition of STD is a REALLY bigass tank with a shit ton of guns mounted in every empty spot available. So, I would guess around, 40-60+ studs long?

I haven't built one either (although I'd Like to), but if I were to build a super tank I would be sure to pack it with lots of armor in addition to weapons, mainly because you know that everyone one the enemy team will be gunning after that monster from the start of the game. Even the mightiest unit can fall under the brutality of combined fire.

Be careful in which one you get. Some of them are quite painful.

STDs are tanks that would be absolutely absurd IRL.
AT LEAST 1.5 times the size of this:

I think some people are thinking more along the lines of PARV sizes, really a 40k apocalypse tank is a realistic size. something like a moving bunker.

Yeah just a tank that is so big it doesn't make sense IRL. Mine is 36 studs long, but this is about the absurdity factor not a specific measurement.

I just knew the Panzer VIII Maus and Landkruezer Ratte would show up in this thread eventually.
But yeah, I would probably build a STD along the lines of a WH40K Baneblade or Shadowsword or something. I could never in my wildest dreams build something like the PARV...

The Orpheus was 39 studs long, it is now 47 - but still a work in progress.

Look at the gunners at the back. not exactly a tank but this would be a great assault transport.

I would like to make some giant moving bunker for my space vikings to go along with the tanks/tankettes. It would be like that link Gungnir posted, just a giant set of armored treads with a raised platform on top for them all to stand on. I took apart the Longboat sloop, so I could use the mounted machine guns on railings again and stuff. Just have to find the pieces.
