Galactic News Update.

A few relatively important events have occurred in my end of the universe of late.

- Al-Kind-of agents destroyed an EnCor LasTech processing plant on Uriel II, causing a chain reaction which rendered the planet uninhabitable. Since Uriel II supplies 87% of the majors factions Laser weapon power sources and technology, many forces are being forced to cut back on their use of laser tech.

-Based on the LasTech Incident, The U.S.S.S.R. reformed their infantry corps, based on the venerable Petrenkov A-9 Bolt Rifle, a semi-automatic weapon primarily used in the firs Communist revolution of the space age. The New Red Guards favour mass infantry wave tactics and unyielding leadership by Commisars.

- The Al-Kind-of state stabilized into a socialist republic under their former guerrilla leader. A good portion of their ground troops are made up of Militia and partisan volunteers, with an elite core of specialists being maintained.

- The Time-Traveling Super Jews were the first of the big Three to begin mass production of a Super Heavy Tank; the Decimator.

- EnCor neared completion of their first Landing Frigate "Syracuse". The small ship will include assault bays, barrage capabilities and defensive systems.

- The apocalyptic rebels of Miller IV gained strength under Mad Max XII.

- EnCor violates galactic warfare laws and begins manufacture of TH-5 Catalytic Barrage Weapons. The TH-5 lobs shells filled with caustic chemicals propelled by a chemical reaction between the gasses in the shell and a secret substance pumped in through the launcher. While yet to be used in combat, the experimental weapon caused mass damage on a secret testing range on Calus III.

- EnCor continues experiments and creates to Hoffman III Anti-Grav Scout Vehicle. The size of a jeep and armed with two machine guns, the Hoffman may change vehicular propulsion in the long run.
