Yeah. I think there's more to it or I was a complete retard.

Maybe if I my floppy penis'd it instead of falconing it. But it would still have the same effect, slight annoyance and then editing/deletion.

Creepers are annoying as hell. You know how it is: You are exploring the area for a bit and then suddnely: tssbBOOM! You are dead.
But the game would be boring without them. And there are ways to deal with them. Most involve thick walls and many, many torches. On both sides of said wall.

Actually, I see creepers as gentle creatures. The ones unsuspecting adventurers see are soldier creepers, out there defending their home of creeptopia from marauding adventurers. Due to their lack of arms, creepers eventually developed a unique self-defense mechanism: exploding. They only use it in case of emergency, or when they see something nice. (Creepers hate nice things.)

I disagree with your theory.

Mine is that not all creepers explode. Only the radical ones. Radical Creepers have been brainwashed by propaganda and their religous leaders into believing that they have to sacrifice their lives to win a holy war against a bunch of evil imperialist invaders.

However the modern creeper doesn't explode, and faces racism every day due to the Radical creepers suicide bombing buildings.
