My favorite weapon was the Perforator. But if DLC weapons don't count, then I have to say my favorite was the Chinese Assault Rifle.

Just an fyi, both FO3 and FONV are on sale today on steam, with the dlcs.

I was partial to the gauss weapons from the Op:Anchorage dlc.

For FONV so far though the 12.7mm guns are pwn.

I'm not too big of a fan of Fallout 3, it's a great tale but its too easy, even at Very Hard I never died. Even with FWE and other mods, I still won all the time, and had to deal with extraneous shit.

Fallout New Vegas, however, is the shit.

I use the Metal Blaster a lot because it's easy to find laser rifles to repair it with.

Oh hey guys. I got involved with a couple of Fallout RPGs over the last few weeks, then it occurred to me that I should probably play the game. I went out and bought New Vegas, played it a day later.

Presuming you are playing on PC,

Play on Very Hard and Hardcore mode. Install Project Nevada, NMCs Texture Pack, WMX, Nevada Skies, EVE, but not in that order. Also maybe the weapons retexture mod

Start game, hack in sunglasses, President NCR guy's suit, Vault 13 canteen, that unique 10mm pistol, silencer for 10mm pistol, Broad Machete, one Purified Water, 5 Stimpacks.

Go forth my son.

Can't put mods on uniques, can you? Or does one of those above game mods change that?

Also, 12.7mm is teh win, much better than 10mm.
