So, I have this tumblr site where I post pictures of cards with funny eyes. Updated once or twice a week, check it out if interested:

Your photography got better as you did more.
One last thing, try to photo them perpendicular to the card face.
So you don't see that perspective view, if you know what I mean.

Angling the surface the card is on will help. But watch out for the light reflections coming back.
