I signed up for the beta. Still waiting for my key though.

Looks great. The guys at Piranha seem to be giving the franchise justice. I've been also following their concept artist on DA, pretty awesome stuff.

I'd love to play, but my computer's graphics card has other plans. Maybe I'll try it on a laptop; mine has pretty good graphics and quality and I have yet to use it for college like I intended to.

I registered my "Pilot's Name" for beta right when it came available on their site. Unless you're talking about the founders program, which, unfortunately, I can't afford right now. :(

What mechs are you guys looking forward to?

The Jenner and the Cicada look nice, but I will surely have to try out the Jagermech. I've always wanted to use it in a game other than mechcommander, where I could actually pilot the thing and tear stuff up with those four autocannons. Stalker looks sweet too.

I love what they did with the Centurion. I'm curious for the Hellhound.

But my favorite mechs by far are the Heavies and Assaults. Atlas, Madcat, Loki, Thor, etc...

Sadly ,there's no clan mechs in the game so far. They plan on going through Battletech history in real time, in other words, one day IRL will be one day in-game. It could be a while before we see clan tech.

Seriously? Didn't know that. Clan tech is superior to the Inner Sphere's so I guess that's fair after all.

True, but I still like some inner sphere mechs (namely the Marauder variants and some others). I still prefer clan weapons though. Sure they generate more heat (and seem to have longer recycle times), but they have superior range, lighter weight, and oftentimes have better firepower.

Ahhhh, this game. I've been enjoying the beta for a while now. Love the punch of my Catapult and PPC Jenner.
