Without even reading this thread, which has become too long on such a "simple subject",
Rule of fudge.
I let my officers dual-wield pistols by rolling once for both of her pistol's skill and then once again for both of their damage rolls (i.e the damage roll is applied twice), with the cp cost of two pistols. Additionally both must be aimed at the same target. If I was statting larger twin-linked weapons it would work about the same way, but the only benefit I see from it is cutting down on the dice rolls. Otherwise, it's a rather useless addition, and one shouldn't go through the bother of declaring certain weapons to be twin-linked unless absolutely necessary.
