Jees, stuff happened. Okay, I'd like the map idea after thinking about it. Also, I'l be the the Republic of the North. Basically, Vikings in modern day.

Prototype of the map. I was thinking that me and Semaj would be mainly continental while Kalvinator is in a big but mostly uninhabitable island in the North with a few island colonies.

I'm not sure where Thesson's rangers would go, but I was thinking south or an island dictatorship akin to Cuba.

Could you give like a scale to see how big the map is. Then we could make realistic Trade Routes and and if people are sending back up to see how long it would take.

I was thinking of something more like this for the map, but I can see why a completely fictional map would be good.

If we did go the Google Maps route, I would remove all names and photoshop the map to make it look unrecognizable. Thoughts?

Also, how do you guys feel about having multiple nations per player?

A fictional map is cool, but the IRL maps have terrain features (mountains, rivers, deserts, ect.) already incorporated.

Removing the map stuff would be good, and multiple nations should be OK as long as they're not allied.

Can I use some of the weapons I have already madw for my troops as long as they're not sci-fi lazory?

Not necessarily. A paint map can have mountains and deserts and lakes and rivers.

Perhaps we make a big blank map, and we make up the features of our own nation(s). We'll make sure they're fair through the honour system(i.e No 800 mountains surrounding your borders unless it's a relatively small country like Switzerland.

Perhaps we should only do 1 nation per player, that way we can have really secret state secrets that don't get leaked so easily.

I'm 50/50 on the map. Whatever you guys want.
