PlanetSide 2 - Which faction? What server?

Yeah there's two threads and tons of pages of posts.... all I really wanna know is:

Do we have any sort of organization here? Website / Forum?
TeamSpeak / Vent / Mumble - IP, port, and password?
What faction?
Which server?
Anything else I should know?

I just sent a request to join under offroadsamurai.

I have a microphone and all the typical voice software (Vent, TS, etc). I'm comfortable using them and respect communication discipline over channels.

Never played PS1 but I'm not stranger to FPS games or 'capture the flag' / 'capture the objective' games.

Tend to be an irregular player =/ So don't count on me filling in any roles that require any predictable schedule. Honestly my typical game time is 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM CST =P

We are on Waterson mostly, but I've also been setting up a SolTech chapter because of Waterson wait times. It isn't very big yet though.
