Hello there, Brikwars forums. Been around for a few days, just got around to posting in here.
Really hoping I don't get made fun of for the username. It's just easy to remember. When it comes down to it, if any of you can remember or care to, I wouldn't mind being called Vorhies.
I come from Tacoma, WA, USA. My quest is to find the Holy Grail, or some junk. But really, it's to get a feel for this game. What I'm really having trouble with is figuring out standards for homebrew weapons and the like. Also wondering what it takes to really get a faction started, and any direction I could be given there would be much appreciated.

There are none: it's homebrew for a reason. Do what's fun, and you're probably doing it right. Besides, more variety of weapons usually also leads to more of a headache keeping track of who's sub-machineguns have which accuracy and range modifiers and such.
