Bavarian Army Update September 15th 2013

Image

The Unicycle of death. A one wheeled fast attack vehicle made to soften up enemy troops with missiles and run a few over. Future upgrades will probly involve buzzsaws, spikes and bigger guns.

Image

The first hardsuit I built that I don't hate.

Image

A little German jeep. Right now I have two of them. Both of them have machineguns under the bumper. Can fit one passenger comfortably, but five-ten with some effort.

Image

A Luftsturmer, used to support ground troops and vehicles, give the General a good overview of the battlefield and cut down buildings and aircraft.

Image

It's main method of movement is hovering, which means it can get low to the ground.

Image

The armaments, six Mk II missiles and a Saxon Laser.

Update(3/17/13):

Image

I have decided the APC is ugly and I should make a battle tub.

Image

It can hold up to five or six soldiers. For now it only has my mechanized troops.

Image

Image

The cockpit is able to detach. This is useful when the front of the battletub is reduced to molten slag. It's a steel horse with two size one guns.

Image

Engine.

Image

Image

A shitty panzer I built without the knowledge or skill of building a good lego tank. I'll probably build a better one when I've got the time.

Image

Image

I just realized I forgot to take pics of the interior. Oh well.

Image

I've noticed that most armies are lacking some sort of artillery. Though I think the Dutch or the Tredorians have light ones. Anyways this baby has a crew of four. Two shovel brigadiers, one soldier and a pilot. All four of them reload the guns. The soldier is used to give the gun some extra protection and the pilot is the one who aims and fires the gun. The shovel brigadiers get to push it.

Image

It has a payload of four size one explosives (the studs). It also happens to be a size four payload launcher.

Image

It has two hooks on the back to hold pistols. This way the crew aren't completely helpless.

Image

Der Verloren Hoop

Image

Lost Hope squads are vital to the Bavarian Ground Forces. They are usually made up of veteran troops with a few fresh recruits that replace the dead squad members.

Image

The Lost Hope doesn't rely on the Stg Vampyrs like other squads, instead they use Mondragon Rifles because they're more accurate and require less maintenance at the cost of having a lower rate of fire.

Image

Lost Hope Officers are usually very tough, experienced and courageous. They are expected to charge into minefields, break heavily armoured formations, destroy barbed wire with their boots and do whatever is beyond expected.

Image

They are also given bier to distract them from their grievous wounds or if they want to take a break.

Image

Infrantry are put into battle with Krupp Light Armour (+1) and a Stg 404 (Size 2 rifle).

Image

Right now I have a mere 2 squads of 8.

Image

Officers lead the squads, armed with machinepistols and Whitesabers.

Image

Squads are given either a banner carrier or a Flugelpipist to raise morale.

Image

The most aryan soldiers are put into the Schoneitcorps, to promote nordic beauty and demoralize the enemy.

Image

Riesenlasters are sent into battle to take overwhelming punishment and give it right back.

Image

The terminators used by the Bavarian Army are old Austrian models taken in border raids and skirmishes in the Bavarian civil war.

Image

Mistenroboters are traitors from the Briktoid Automata painted in Bavarian colours and refitted with machine guns and bolt rifles.

Image

Image

Sniper cannons are used to take down small vehicles, armoured troops and infrantry from a distance.

Image

Teutonic Knights all vary within the Bavarian army and are known for good swordsmanship and extreme pompousness.

Image

Shepherds are used to find certain objects and kill vermin.

Image

Valkyries are Jetpack troopers.

Image

This squad is mechanized infrantry and rides in the APC.

Image

The whole army.

What is this, I don't even.

Awesome stuff overall, especially the infantry and heavies, though I'm disappointed that you don't have a Shovel Brigade besides that one Terminator.

I have plans to give all of the infantry backpacks with a shovel for close combat and a steine to drink bier with.

Also thanks.

Yeah, Briktoid has the same problem...

Until I finish the design on the Pain-Train and warm my mother up to Bricklink, they're going to be nothing more then Stock STAPs and Transports.

I really like this army, especially the heavy infantry and the small rocket carts.

The Mistenroboters remind me of IG-88. I also like the Hovertrike (Hoverunicycle?) thing. It's awesome. The hardsuit still needs a little help though.

Thanks. I'm not 100% sure of the colour scheme but that's mainly due to lack of blue and grey parts.

What side are the Bavarian's on like Bonn-o-Tron. Wondering as I may be able to use them in forum battles and such if they're on the Anti-Immortals.

So then, since my guys are aligned with the Immortals, that means I can fight your guys. My little brother has a lot of Mandos.
