Viking Massacre

Postby LegoEggo » Tue Jan 15, 2008 8:08 pm

Me and my friend had a BrikWar the other day. It wasn't planned, so he just used some of my figs. We didn't use all of them, just a few of my vikings. I don't want to type every bit of the battle, so I'll skim through boring parts and deliberate on the violent parts  .

I'll call the teams "Bloo" (The one with mostly blue figs, and the hero with a spiky halberd-ish thing) and "Rag-tag" (The one with no uniform).

It started out with us marching our troops toward each other. When we met, the Bloo hero attempted to pole vault over the enemies' heads, but failed and knocked them over.
Image
The battle continued, with much slaughter. The first kill was made by Rag-tag, with a critical success and decapitation!
Our two boats approached each other. The row boat is Rag-tag's. They tried to board Bloo's ship, but the first soldier failed horribly, drowning. The slave and 2nd soldier made it up just dandily.
Image
The battle continued, with heavy losses on Bloo's side, including the two Native Amerikan scouts. (I cried for them  ).
Image
The Bloo ship captain defended his ship, killing the soldier and running from the slave! He eventually was pushed by the slave and almost fell into the water, but killed him before the slave could push him off.
Image
The Bloo hero ran for it, with only 1 soldier surviving (other than the ship captain).
Image
Once the hero was aboard the ship, it started off. The enemy hero fought back, though, and through an unsuspecting soldier at the ship. Unfortunately, he got a critical failure and the soldier died.
Image
The ship eventually turned around to face the weakened enemy. The Rag-tag hero bashed himself into the ship with a critical success, and killed the ship captain. The hero survived, and came back to fight. He slaughtered the enemy.

So, Bloo won by a hair. I didn't tell you everything that happened here, you can take a look at The Gallery of Deathly Massacre when it's public. Another highlight includes a Rag-tag soldier getting converted by the Bloo hero and turning on his friends.

Note: The pictures are all this small, I didn't want to spend 5 hours uploading pictures. I might upload larger ones later, we'll see.

I have... let's see... 32. So not too many, but good enough. Once I get them all on one team against my friends, it will be much funner  .

As for you who want more blood and fire: I used all my blood, and didn't really use any fire - didn't see a use. But yersh, drunks are a good idea - I should make myself a stumble die!

Nice report, fantasy/mideaval battles are fun because you can get away with dismembered bodies and lots'o'blood.

I just didn't want to put my ISO way up like most people do, that makes the pictures look like piles of poo. I had as much light as I could... I think.
