Newbie Question: Vehicle-to-Vehicle combat

Hey all! I'm a new initiate to the wacky world of brikwars... I was always hoping to get into warhammer, but when this came along, i had to give it a try - not only do we have lego, but it's a buttload cheaper

I've played a couple of Quikwars games with my little brother, and it has spawned some questions, espescially in vehicle to vehicle combat...

Allow me to demonstrate with this picture. This was a scenario that happened in our latest match. The Bionicle with three melee weapons (mouth and two arms) attacking a LSV. In the interest of making it somewhat fairer, for vehicles we'd fudged the rules to make it 1d6 damage per weapon. still, in this case, it's 3d6! subsequently, Bionicle from hell anhillates my Vehicle with 14 studs worth of damage.. I'm calling it no fair on this one...

So, my noob question(s) to all you guys is this:
1. Did my little brother and I get the damage right for the Bionicle?
2. Is there any rules by way of armor for vehicles?
3. Or are we doing it completely wrong?

ya the bionicle has one leg in the water and should have drowned (LOL )

honestly i think that the bionicles weapons = more than twice it's hight.

Since the Bionicle's weapons are Melee, they should be able to hit the LSV. Unless the mouth can reach the vehicle, the damage should be 2d6. From how I've played Quikwars, each specified piece of armor a Construction has is 1d6 for armor rating.

I'm fairly certain that the Bionicle can only use ONE of it's weapons in a turn (unless you bought multitasking or whatever it's called).

I think there's no error. The Bionicle seems more powerful than the car.

The bionicle may be more powerful, but i think IV is right. The bionicle can only attack once in one turn, meaning that the car should have survived.

Ya, IV's right, unless he bought multitasking for it, that thing's only got 1 attack/turn. However, look at the size of those claws! I would give it 2d6 damage each, but that's just me.

I've got my own questions: for hurting a vehicle in 2005 rules, does overkill damage have to defeat the armor again or do 1 structure damage per point of overkill

I think overkill should automatically pass through whatever it has already eliminated. So, it should start damaging the target immediately, and if it eliminates it, it should start on the minifigs behind it.

uhhhh no it definitely has to try to defeat the armor again. Having structure damage build up again like that would be TERRIBLY GAMEBREAKING.
