Seriously. The only other forum I go to is Something Awful, and people get perma-banned for derailing on this magnitude.

The targeting computer handles firing at enemy units. The pilot merely selects a target within locking distance and hits fire once the computer calculates the target's trajectory. The Magnetic Shielding protects the AC against electro-magnetic pulses and other strange weapons like lightning cannons and plasma guns. I didn't show pictures, but if you fold back the armour on the top sides of the wrists there are emitters for ion torches meant to cut through enemies. They can also be used for maneuvering since they're essentially ion rockets, but they aren't strong enough to propel the AC on their own. Some sections like the front of the core have mimetic armour (any smooth tiled surface) which reduces damage from shell weapons but doesn't provide an advantage against explosive weapons or particle weapons. The missile jammer tries to jam heat-seeking missiles or ones which have a lock-on function and tries to confuse their computers. (It gives a -1 modifier to use rolls when enemies fire targeted missiles at it. Straight-firing rockets are not affected.) The AC's Absolute Terror Field emitter lets it fight against Evangelist Cyborgs.

*The fusion rockets may be used for 2 consecutive turns to increase the maximum move to 36" but it must then spend 1 turn recharging them where it can only move 24". They let the AC use some of its movement as flying movement if desired, but normally it's just for speeding across the ground.
