IV, you are, of course, correct. The minifigs in charge of modular weaponry on this mecha have been shot. Currently installing largish cannon on shoulder.

Enemy Pacification Device progress:
(will finish tonight after work hopefully)

As for the color, this one should be purple. Unfortunately, I don't have all that many purple parts that would be... useful.

(Typing this at work)
It's just a series of 2x2 cylinders with a black 'hip' part and a barrel on the end.

Well, I did a little checking and was greatly surprised at what set I got it with; I remember the set fondly: http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/1682-1
This being said, I'm trying to work out the barrel(s?) of the gun so that it looks excessive without being completely overweight.

Super Edit:

Alright, got it. I present to you the ZNAFU II Pestilence Variant.

This beast can barely stand up now. I sure hope you're happy IV.

Alright, hate to double-post, but this doesn't warrant a new topic. I am, brace yourself, building another mecha. But I'm not certain how I want to arm this. Not physically arm, those are coming. Currently thinking an axe would be good.

I also need to point out the lower legs are hardly final. I needed to find out if I could get enough of it in dark red to justify bothering building it.

a giant two handed war hammer with craploads of spikes would look nice on that one.

That's a pretty bad-ass looking head, probably my favorite so far. Also, I think a big ol' axe would suffice as a nice weapon.

but you're lacking on gigantic rifles designed for mechs! i mean sure, there's that realistic "back mounted" crap, but why not a giant gun with a giant trigger and giant bullets? an exact carbon copy of a normal gun... but giant!

either that or flamethrowers. red mechs always have flamethrowers. it's the law.

The problem with that is that "giga" sized weapons based on real weapons could hypothetically jam, and I don't see many mecha willing to futz with a jammed rifle when all an energy based one would do is melt, taking all the pressure off. But I'm going to try a massive revolver. Don't think the it'll be supported by weight, but I'll try.

Edit:

I don't have the right parts for arms... this will be interesting.

Edited-edit:

Gave up on the revolver, went heavier, added beam-cleaver:
