i think its more of the strusture, uniformness, and story than numbers that count.

Sure Lrdofbriks, Send them by PM and I'll have a look and see if they can be copied from what I have to hand, include weapons. They wont appear here but perhaps next time. Also, send some of your ideas for stats and background.

I'll need to get in touch with a few others, OneEye said he was interested as did Appolion IIRC.

I'm working my way through the turns as orders come in, it spreads out the amount of time it takes to play out and allows me to edit the photo's more. I have half the orders I need so far.

Lrdofbriks hit it square on the head. A force can be small and have good stats or huge and have low stats but don't expect perfect balance in these games. I don't do balance, I do cinematic and hopefully exciting.

Sure, If any of you want in then send picks of your troops, specialists and Hero's and background/stats and stuff, (I can't do vehicles, I may do at some point, who knows) but it's on the understanding that I do what I feel like when I feel like doing it, so don't be butt if I take my time. I will however TRY to respect anyone who takes part but I'm only human, okay?

You do realise this is all about telling an unfolding story. One where the Immortals will eventually meet you all, perhaps in battle, perhaps as allies but with your galaxy/empires as the ultimate prize.

Heh, I'm just ecstatic to see such an awesome forum battle - while I can't wait for more, but I can - if that makes any sence! XD

While I was on my way back to university from the local shop, I did turn my head to the idea of vehicles, and how to get them across in forum battles, the only thing I can think of is LDD, which also creates an instruction manual for you're model as you build, saving or exporting the appropriate file and then sending it via email to the recipient forum battle ref/games master typ-ee person and hoping they have all the parts to build it/allow the stats for it.

Of course, that kind of requires some patience with building in LDD - as it doesn't always cater for the same building choices that a human builder would make.

As for sending other stats and stoof over - with me its always "at some point . . . " which can describe a length of time from 6 days to 6 months so around me, patience isn't a virtue - it's a requirement! XD

And story above game? any seasoned role-player knows this is the golden rule, and you warhead - win +1 internets, and 10 man points

LLD to real life would consume a lot of man hours and probable expense. Someone on this forum awesomely built various vehicles and let people pick from the list (photo's included) what they fancied in their army. I think this would be a better idea, so long as it was kept simple.

I'm fairly methodical and plodding so 6 months = pretty soon in my book. Edit: Eh, turn 4 will not take that long however.

Still waiting on orders from Birdman, Natalya (she's playing a game in with Strana, Tuefish etc) ...and 501st again... If 501st doesn't send orders by the morning (here) then it's over to MasterEcabob. PM's all round.

If you want allies Natalya you'll need to work it out between you (PM each other... or talk to him, he's in the same room today I beleive) IF you can satisfy each teams objectives then yeah, no problem, otherwise no.

I'm not saying 501st is wasting time, just that I too can't wait to get on with things. It's my call. By morning or someone else takes over, sorry but circumstances or not I need orders and others are available... Uh, I'm being a dick, yeah? So be it.

On a happier note: We're getting a 50" HD plasma TV delivered today with a sound system that liquefies your nervous system with Sonics as you watch. :shock:
