Branching from the narrative following the conclusion of the For Great Justice, Part I: Tower of Justice forum battle, the Season 12 losers are very publicly shipped back to prison, ostensibly thanks to Dissonance Industries and Entertainment's charitable rehabilitative stance on incarceration. In truth, it seems, our protagonists have been returned to Prison System Eight (the deadliest proving grounds of the Nine Systems) in hopes that they will be extinguished by glory seekers, the power hungry, and the generally ruthless populace. The heroes must hope to survive the rigors of this hellish place and escape, either for their own safety, to spread word of the evil plot brewing in the Tower of Justice, or for some other mysterious purpose.
Escape from Prison System Eight (abbreviated PS8) is a BrikwaRPG spinoff of the successful For Great Justice forum battle series. The game uses the Quantumsurfer Edition BrikWaRPG ruleset. It was initially presented in October 2014 in the Magic Soap Opera Board of the forum as a branching story. After some discussion, it was decided that the story would transition into a BrikwaRPG. This RPG is part of The Chronicles of Doom clusterfic.
